Rocky Mountain College is a private, residential, comprehensive liberal arts college located beneath the sandstone “rim-rocks” in a park-like suburban neighborhood of Billings, Montana, the state’s largest and most economically vibrant city. The college is committed to the pursuit of knowledge, tolerance, free inquiry and to such values as service, community, and character. The history of Rocky Mountain College and the building of these values began in the late 1800’s. The campus is beautiful and the student body is relatively small. This generates a 12:1 student to faculty ratio where everyone can create close friendships across the board.
The Vice President of Institutional Advancement has broad campus responsibilities and influence. President Robert Wilmouth, M.D. is eager to fill this position with a career professional that has the ability to be an enthusiastic resource and practitioner for all issues related to philanthropy. The VPIA will lead a team of development officers and support staff through an energized full-service fundraising program. This position will also manage a small marketing staff and have direct access for telling the story of this College as an economic engine serving Billings and the surrounding region.
